CONNECTIONS was founded in 1986 when Jon Giberson decided customers deserved options in choosing a call accounting system. Traditionally, customers had to take the system that was sold with the PBX or go shopping to multiple vendors to find the right solution. With over fourteen years of experience in the telecom industry, Jon was in a position to recommend the right call accounting solutions that met each customer's specific needs. Representing multiple best-in-breed products over the years, he has made CONNECTIONS a leader in the call accounting marketplace and has provided options and choices to hundreds of customers.

In 2004, Jon's daughter Amy Bailey joined CONNECTIONS, adding another generation to the family-owned business. Her expertise in VoIP and ACD have helped move the business forward into the future of converged technologies.

Jon Giberson founded CONNECTIONS in 1986 with the idea that customers should have choices in their purchases and be able to buy from a trusted friend. He has built CONNECTIONS to be the industry leader in call accounting and other telecom cost-savings tools.

After receiving his BS degree in Marketing from Cal Poly, Pomona, he spent 5 years in sales with Xerox Corporation. He entered the telecommunications industry in 1972 and worked for several companies in sales, sales management, marketing and general management until starting CONNECTIONS.

 

Jon is considered an authority in the field of call accounting and because of his extensive experience in the installation and use of hundreds of call accounting systems, has been asked to speak at numerous telecom trade shows around the US. His workshop attendees are enthusiastic in their praise of his presentation and its value to them. Jon uses many unique examples from his customers and shows how they have used the system to their advantage. He is also a contributing writer on "Call Accounting Tips" in Telecom Reseller.

 
 

Amy Bailey
Amy Bailey joined CONNECTIONS in 2004 and took on the role of vice president of customer care. She travels extensively speaking at major trade shows and user groups.

She is the point person for installations and works on behalf of the customer with the vendors involved in installing and implementing our call accounting systems.

She works with large, multi-site installations and assists customers before and during implementation. In addition, Amy works with our existing customers and new system sales.

Amy is a graduate of San Diego State University with degrees in Speech Communication and Liberal Arts. She was Associated Students' President while at SDSU and has several years of management experience with Brooks Brothers and Nordstrom.
